These are the Best Spanish Channels for Dissemination and Education

Table of Contents

December 2023.- At 2btube, we work with dozens of content creators of dissemination, culture and education, topics that not only accumulate millions of views and followers, but also generate a positive impact for society. And it is that their videos, whether spreading knowledge, or simply, inspiring or generating interest in art or science, contribute a lot to their viewers.

That is why we have analyzed the most outstanding YouTube channels and present a ranking with the best Spanish channels for dissemination and education. Only the 25 channels that are part of this list already represent an accumulated audience of more than 70 million subscribers and 400 million views per month; which demonstrates the great reach of these topics.

In this ranking we find professional profiles from the field of science and the arts, as well as different academic disciplines. For its preparation, the Tubular Labs tool has been used and both its community of followers, as well as the quality, objectivity, ownership, frequency and views of its content have been taken into account; excluding educational ones aimed at children and those belonging to media outlets, because these two are completely independent niches.

The ranking is led by five very different profiles. In first place is FisioOnline, dedicated to content on physiotherapy. After him, we find ArteMaster, the channel of the illustrator Alejandro Rubio, in which he teaches different drawing techniques along with artistic challenges. In third position is Guitarraviva, with which we can learn to play the guitar with Carlos Asensio. It is followed by Aprendemos Juntos 2030, BBVA’s educational channel. And top 5 Jordi Koalitic completes with his channel dedicated to the world of photography.

After them we find profiles such as ShaunTrack and Jaime Altozano, known for their musical analysis; or recognized science communicators such as Date un Vlog by Javier Santaolalla or Quantum Fracture.

“We have created this ranking because we want to highlight the fundamental role that content creators play in the dissemination of knowledge and the education of new generations, managing to translate complex topics such as those related to science, history or art; reaching mass audiences” explains Fabienne Fourquet, CEO of 2btube. “In our agency we work hand in hand with this type of profile linked to education and dissemination thanks, among others, to the DigitalizArte project, a training program to support the dissemination of culture through YouTube”

DigitalizArte, an Initiative that Already Has more than 10,000 Students

Some of the creators that can be found in this ranking, such as Quantum Fracture, Memorias de Pez or La Hiperactina are, precisely, ambassadors of DigitalizArte. This is a training project promoted by YouTube, Google Arts & Culture, Fundación Alternativas and 2btube; with the aim of supporting the digitization of culture.

DigitalizArte is a free online course, with which any person or institution can learn to develop or promote a YouTube channel for dissemination and learn, directly, from those creators who have already succeeded on the platform. The program is being a success, it already has more than 10,000 students enrolled since its launch. Here you can see more information about this initiative.

2btube is also working with YouTube on another project to support creators in the educational field in Latin America. Of the more than 200 channels on that topic that exist in the region, eight have been selected to promote their channels through workshops, meetings and invitations to relevant events in the sector. Pasos por ingeniería, Emprende rapeando, La Química de Yamil or Aprendiendo Matemática are some of the creators who have been part of the program.

In this video, several leading creators in these topics, within the framework of the DigitalizArte project, answer the question: Do you think your contents are useful and play a fundamental role in the dissemination of knowledge?
